MBC conducted a single-beam hydrographic survey of Machado Lake using a 16-foot boat, a GPS receiver, modern (2018) navigation software and a survey-grade depth finder with 200kHz transducer to measure water depths in a gridded-pattern along bank-to-bank survey lines spaced at nominal 100' intervals. The results are presented as: 1) a bathymetric depth map, 2) an underwater topographic map, 3) an XYZ file, and 4) a digital terrain map.
MBC was hired by Psomas to perform a Class 1 hydrographic survey of Irvine Lake to provide an updated bathymetric map.
