Lake Management

making decisions with data

Managing lakes and reservoirs

Lakes and reservoirs must be carefully managed to sustain to their long-term health and viability.  MBC Aquatic Sciences (MBC) has nearly 50-years of experience helping water districts, private landowners, municipalities, fishing/hunting clubs, golf courses, and homeowner’s associations manage their lakes, ponds and reservoirs.  MBC takes care of tedious regulatory compliance paperwork, and provides scientifically-sound data that takes the guesswork out of lake management.  MBC’s lake management team includes experts on regulatory compliance, aquatic biology, limnology, water quality, dredging, aquatic weed control, harmful algae blooms (HABS), and invasive species.  MBC works directly with the lake stakeholders and uses science-based data to assess lake conditions and provide recommendations that are best for the lake and the Client.
